A LITTLE HELP PLANNING

Rainy-day outings for babies and toddlers

You do not need to fill the whole day. Pick an indoor outing that suits your child’s stage, your budget and how much travel feels manageable. Have one nearby alternative in case the first place is full.

For babies and younger toddlers

Look closely at the youngest age band. We Rock the Spectrum Oakville welcomes infants and lists free admission for ages 0–11 months. Adult supervision is required throughout, and the daily Open Play schedule needs checking.

For making and exploring

The AGO Hands-On Centre offers art-making, building, reading and creative play with an adult. Its hours differ from the gallery’s hours, and entry is included with gallery admission. Check the centre’s own page before booking a gallery visit around it.

Compare the whole visit

Include adult admission, tax, socks, parking and travel when deciding what fits. Check whether entry lasts all day or has a time limit. A free infant ticket does not necessarily make the family’s whole visit free.
