Why we made Busy Bug
Busy Bug was created to make that everyday decision easier: what can we do today that actually works for us?
We bring local schedules and places to visit into one calm, practical space. A library storytime, a little splash, room to crawl or somewhere to meet another grown-up. You can compare the details that matter before getting everyone out the door.
For little ones and the people beside them
We are here for mothers navigating the baby and toddler years, and for every parent, grandparent and caregiver making a day with a little one. Busy Bug focuses on children from birth to 36 months across Toronto, Hamilton, Halton, Peel, York and Durham.
Some days you want company. Some days you need a free activity close to home. Some days a short walk is enough. There is no perfect itinerary to keep up with, just possibilities that fit your family today.
The practical details deserve a place
Age, time, price and registration come first. When we have reliable information about getting in, changing a diaper or finding room for floor play, we show it. When a detail is unknown, we say so.
Connected sources are checked in the background, and each outing shows where its information came from. A published schedule does not guarantee a space. Check the provider before leaving, especially when plans change.
Growing with local families
Our aim is to keep everyday discovery free for families. As Busy Bug grows, clearly labelled sponsorships may help support the work of keeping it useful.
Paid placements will be marked Sponsored and kept separate from ordinary results. A business cannot buy a better verification status. Free community programmes and honest information remain part of the picture.
